Our team specialises in the Students’ Union sector where we hold high levels of delegated authority under a number of schemes. The team enjoys a 95%+ renewal retention rate year on year and our recent survey to the sector returned an NPS score of 84. The role of Account Broker within our Retention and Servicing team will be to maximise business income through effective handling of customers, providing service of a high quality. You will be responsible for managing and owning our book of Students’ Union Non-Exec customers which include a mix of advised and non-advised renewals - overseeing the whole renewal process, MTAs as well as cross selling opportunities. The role is varied and includes an element of underwriting and claims handling due to the delegated authority in place. Account Broker key accountabilities will include: • Management and ownership of our Students’ Union Non-Exec customer book • Providing advice and support to customers throughout the year • Ensuring a high level of customer service • Support with key processes such as our Temporary Hire Vehicle system


We are looking for an Account Broker with a strong work ethic and experience in the insurance sector. You will also be quick to learn technical details of the schemes in place including adhering to parameters and processes that underpin delegated authority levels. A passion for providing ‘A’ grade customer service and becoming an expert in the Students’ Union sector is key to this role. The Account Broker will also have the following; • Strong communication skills both written and verbal • Good organisational and time management skills • Attention to detail • Good at building rapport and relationships • Individual accountability with the ability to spot and identify opportunities and provide solutions • Positivity and enthusiasm
