Role

The role of Commercial Account Executive within our Endsleigh team will be to meet and exceed new business targets in our B2B Advised Commercial Sales team. The main focus of the role is to grow market share in the Education and Not For Profit (NFP) market through advised & non advised selling of commercial lines products to Chariites, Schools, Universities, Colleges.

key accountabilities will include:

  • Responsible for prospecting and securing new Education and or NFP clients and ensuring the successful on-boarding of new clients
  • Advising clients and making recommendations to Education and or NFP organisations over the phone/video call.
  • Attending relevant key conferences to generate new opportunities.
  • Providing accurate sales forecasts to the Specialist Insurance Leader using pipeline reporting.
  • Supporting the Specialist Insurance Leader and Specialist Insurance Account Manager with managing relationships with key partners.
  • Working with Service and Renewals to deliver an exceptional customer experience. 
  • To provide insurance advice to clients and model effective protection through the provision of appropriate insurance products.
  • To treat customers fairly at all times in adherence with the FCA TCF principles.
  • Identifying opportunities for leads to other areas of B2B, providing introductions and supporting the cross-sell process.

Person

We are looking for a Commercial Account Executive with experience winning new business within the public & Private sectors.

The Commercial Account Executive will also show ability to build long lasting relationships and ability to utilise opportunities including networking, referrals, recommendations etc.

The Commercial Account Executive will also have the following;

  • Sound technical knowledge of insurance gained in a Broker or Insurance company environment.
  • CII qualified (essential) or ACII qualified
  • Experience of dealing with third parties with the ability to develop relationships.
  • Ability to exceed individual targets and achieve deadlines
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both orally and visually
  • Ability to understand people and build rapport and adapt styles of communication
  • The ability to manage own diary and workload effectively and work to tight deadlines with accuracy of work
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Ability to spot and identify opportunities for cross-selling
  • Ability to use a CRM tool (preferably Salesforce) effectively from both an opportunity management and reporting perspective
